This thread is now open for your score predictions and to discuss the starting XI...

A big interest for me on Saturday will be which senior players will not even make the bench, such is the choice we now have.

If Ring is not on the bench for example, is there anything to read into that after Wednesday?

It’s that lovely and fond Lincoln exponent Ryan Lowe in charge for Wigan on Saturday. I hope he is leaving SB after his usual whinging and moaning about us, preferably without any points.

Wickens

Darikwa - Hamer - Jackson - Towler

McGrandles - Bayliss

Street - Draper - Hackett

Collins

as per Trickyimp! only 3-0 imps Collins scores 1st and possibly another gift goal or a reward for pressing depending on POV

Wickens
Darikwa - Hamer - Towler - Reach
Mcgrandles - Bayliss
Street House Ring

The idea of changing round 50% of your defence in one go, when you don't need to, seems unlikely to say the least.

Even more so when they would be next to each other. In slightly unfamiliar territory, it's good to have solid support around you, not someone else trying to grasp a new role in the team.

It might well be Towler and Reach in the back four somewhere further down the line...but not on Saturday chucked together at the same time, when one hasn't even played a full 90 minutes since May.

Wickens
Darikwa Hamer Jackson Reach
McGrandles Bayliss
House Draper Hackett
Collins

Jeacock, Montsma, Towler, Barbrook, Street, Okoronkwo, Ring

(I’ve assumed Bradley suspended, Varfolomeev, Lembikisu, Obikwu all on international)

Leaves Thorn and Pardington out the squad.

Maybe a start for House having scored 2 very good goals in the cups.

4-1 win for the Imps!

Why bench Towler?
