Who's Who At Lincoln City?

Not much else though. Still got last season's squad pics and no match reports from the friendlies. Find the web site very poor over all nd rarely visit it.

I wonder how the head of sports science and the head of sports science and medicine get on. Also interesting to note that McCombe is manager of an under 23s team? Does that mean what was our under 18s will now be playing under 23?

Shows how many backroom and support staff are needed to run a successful professional football club even at our level.

I know some will have a lot less and some will have a lot more but by my reckoning (taking some of the obvious part time roles out) that means we have around 42 fulltime staff plus a playing squad of around 20 odd.

Shows we now have some good foundations in place.

As I understand it, “Reserve” teams no longer exist and have basically been replaced by “Under 23” sides. I don’t believe the age requirement isn’t strict on that and players older than 23 returning from injury are able to play in this

Interestingly, no customer services manager amongst that lot.
Exactly my thought. My impression is that the office and ticketing staff are short a couple of bodies. Probably difficult to justify extra given the fluctuating work loads. Zero hour contracts would be a good idea. Tin hat ready.

I wonder how the SLOs fit in, which of them are paid? Would/could/should their remit include ticketing. It is, after all, part of the Lincoln City experience.

Im sure there are things the board want to put in place but all takes time

Exactly, I'm sure Clive and co are keeping a close eye on the operating costs. As long as they continue to match our managers ambitions, we appear to be golden. Success breeds success and perhaps even more investment!
I'm feeling strangely confident ahead of this season!

Just one name that upsets me, Stef Wright. If I win the lottery I'll give him his £75k back to clear off...

Only Alan Long, I think. He's at the Club day to day. Pretty sure the rest are voluntary.

Traditionally of course, customer service is the function that resolves customer issues

It might show that, on the other hand......the key word in your post is successful, mine would be sustainable, and even in these giddy good times a ratio of 2 staff to 1 player might not be.

i suppose his heart was in the wright place,it`s just that he was sitting on his brain.

the good old days!

I would go further in defending Steff. He had the correct stategic vision in terms of access to Sincil Bank, training ground, etc. However the execution was poor, including failing to convey the purpose of "Championship 2010", the poor coice of location for the training ground, and managing the end of the KA reign and transition.

This time round the execution of the plan is successful because the football managers are driving it and a harmonious and competent board is providing the appropriate support.

Listen we have Clive Nates on board now and he was the one who scouted the Brothers ,he has a top business brain and the club will benefit from his input on a daily basis in the task to move LCFC in the right direction for the long term on all fronts.

The big bonus is that when our current management team move on i am totally confident that Clive Nates will plug the gap and success will continue, the guy is a winner and has a proven track record and he won`t be running around Lincoln in a sumo suit!
