Who'd be a coach?

Oh and according to John Aldridge

“Some of their players will shake when they feel the atmosphere we create. They won't have heard anything quite like it.”

I'm scared lads. :036:

I had seen that. Made me laugh....but not as much as the City response :008: Far better to act like grown ups than classless yobs.

As the date approaches we can fully expect more of the same from ex-dippers as they get wheeled out to bang on about the same "glorious European nights" and the media starts to foam at the mouth.

Being on BT Sport we will at least be spared Martin 'anyone but City' Tyler delivering the commentary. :047:

Be a laugh though if there was another way into the ground :039:

Jaysus I hope there is torrential rain 90 minutes before the game. With flooding. That should send the dippers back into their rat holes.

Well, there is no such that Merseyside Police can't say they haven't been warned and this s lends itself to a number of questions....

Will they have enough officers on duty to prevent trouble?

What actions are they taking in advance to ensure the safety of the City players and fans? A proactive approach is required and they must get their act together.

Does this poster amount to an announcement of a demonstration and as such should it not be governed by the laws relating to requiring permission?

City should be raising these issues with the Chief Constable directly.

Personally, I don't care if they line the entire route with all the flares, bangers and dancing girls they like. As long as they don't throw missiles, block the road, or attack anyone, who cares?

As has been said above, it's when things get out of hand and people get hurt that it's not funny anymore and, given the poster doing the rounds, this is all about nastiness, aggression and an inferiority complex, not about banter and joking.

Should Uefa not step in and warn that this may lead to disqualification like when they banned all English for 5 years

English football clubs, bearing the penalty for the shame of the Heysel Stadium disaster two days earlier, were banned from European competition by the Football Association on this day in 1985.

Thirty-nine fans, mainly Italians, had died in the disaster at the Brussels stadium after crowd trouble had erupted prior to the European Cup Final between Liverpool and Juventus

where does it stop Hominid, will it spread to other clubs.

Whilst not trying to be picky it is illegal for fireworks and other pyrotechnics to be set off in such circumstances, Uefa ban flares and fireworks inside Stadia.

We will await whether they will come out and actually advise their 'fans' not to engage in this action. I won't be holding my breath.

The police have issued a 'warning'........hardly in the strongest terms if you ask me

How neanderthal.
I stand to be corrected, but I can't remember even the rags being this knuckle-dragging mindless.
