How famous do they have to be?

My friend, Jan Brittin, was Captain of the Women's Cricket team, but how many have heard of her I wouldn't like to guess?

I used to live near Sid Cowens, so used to chat to him quite a bit.

I've met a few at corporate events. SIr Garfield Sobers, Fred Truman, Stuart Pearce, John Gregory.

I know Caroline Lucas quite well.

Played golf with Glen Hoddle a few times.

New names keep popping into my head, so will update as they come to me!!!!

Dame Judi Dench, David Tennant, Cyrille Regis, Dion Dublin, Phil Babb, Lord Geoffrey Howe, Robin Cook, Lord Digby Jones, Jasper Carrott, Bob Fear. The list goes on :4:

Cameron Diaz?????? If I'd known I could have asked you to give her my number!!!!!!!!

I don't know how I forget. I met the lovely Charlotte Edwards recently.

Bob Willis, Professor Heinz Wolf, Peter Ebdon (not really met but bumped into in a booky's years ago) Jan Erik Larsen (Norway's Jeremy Clarkson) Jonathan Fear ( :17: ) Neil Smith, Tim Munton, Espen Andersen (You don't know him yet but you will, he created Maniac, a TV series that is now being made for Netflix starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill), The entire Norwegian rock band Postgirobygget (Admitedly only famous in Norway) I used to know Malcom Hudson, former World karate champion, quite well, and then it gets even more tenuous, I'm personal friends with a former World and European kick-boxing finalist, Jørn Einar Lund, and another freind's son, Oskar Permats has just been crowned Norwegian champion in break dancing.

Lovely, sirdennis. I'm hoping to meet more of the Women's team in the near future.

Unfortunately Charlotte's partner was also there, so my advances were ignored. Maybe this should be in the sexual harassment thread?
