Whitehouse

Oh that's absolutely awful for poor Elliott. I think he seems like really lovely lad and that's just horrible! A fantastic servant for us.

Really wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

That's really crap luck for Elliott. Think he has only played half a game for the Cods.

From scoring the winner at Wembley, to that, just hope he is back asp[. The life of a footballer.

Radio Humberside reporting, doesn't sound promising.
Getting a second opinion in the hope its not bad as feared.

Awful for him. I think he is the best of their pre-season signings so far, so a big blow to them.

Bad news, that, particularly when you consider the amount of work he seemingly did in terms of fitness, stretching, teetotal etc outside of training as DC alluded to many times.

Wishing him a speedy recovery, although if they're already talking about it being a season ending one, it doesn't look too good. ACL or disclosed knee or something, similar to Beevers?

Thats awful luck for the lad. Wish him a full & speedy recovery. Always gave 100% and scored the winner in our first Wembley appearance.

Dreadful news and awful for him.

I hope it turns out to be less serious than first thought and hope that his recovery is swift and complete.

Confirmed ACL. Grimsby getting a second opinion, but that will probably be regarding the optimum treatment and recovery process.

For those in the know. Out of interest would Grimsby have insurance on him and If so would it only pay out if an injury ends his career ?

Bad news for the lad, hope he is back playing a.s.a.p.
