Which EPL Club Irritates You The Most?

Our latest Vital Spurs front page poll question asks, 'Which EPL Club irritates you the most?'

The word ‘irritate’ can mean an array of definitions and so I’ll leave that up to you just how you define it. Having said that, the point of this article is to get you to think about which English Premier League club, for various reasons, ‘grinds your gears’. Whether it’s because they always seem to get the ‘rub of the green’, (being lucky in whatever they do), wealthy owners who just pile plenty of cash into a club, for no apparent reason and never seem to get anywhere (winning titles or trophies).

Other examples could be that a club may stock-pile youngsters (some as young as 7 or 8). You know, the ones who may have reached their latter teenage years and have the potential to become ‘superstars’ but never appear to get the opportunity to make the grade because the club would rather have them rotting on the bench, or playing for the U21, U20 teams etc. and while they have a hole in their nether regions they won’t have a hope in hell in breaking into the first team.

Perhaps there might be more than one club who just happens to annoy the hell out of you. On the flip-side you might see things differently in that in your opinion you simply don’t care about what other clubs do. Either way I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Feel free to cast your vote and let the debate (hopefully) begin.

COYS!!

Liverpool, just a bunch of ****s.

There is nothing about that club that is not ****.

How you can choose Liverpool ahead of ars*nal, West Ham, Chelsea, Man Utd is beyond me lol

Smugness/media filled with them/Phil Thompson/arrogance/Klopp/Gerrard/Heysel/everything is an anti liverpool conspiracy - I have more....

To be fair if Spurs would have achieved what they have we would probably be just as smug and hyped up by everyone, same with Man Utd.

I'm not including ars*nal and Chelsea as those rivalries go beyond irritation. (although, I have found Chelsea fans so much more irritating to deal with than Arse over the years).

Kiny's right about Liverpool, especially in the media. A few years back I had the Sky Sports app and flicked it up one day to see 30+ articles, 15 of which were about Liverpool. I deleted it.

Sky Sports have Carragher, Redknapp, Souness, Thompson ... even wheeling in Babb and McCateer on occasions. BT have Macmanaman, Owen, and now Gerrard with Barnes and a few others popping in as well. You can't turn on a game without some ex scouser on the panel, and it doesn't matter who is playing, you know at some stage the conversation is going to turn to Liverpool: What do you think of their chances for the title? What about their current slump? Klopp's a right character, talk about him at length. Liverpool's kit is nice this year, eh Jamie?

And I'm not even going to mention the years that MOTD was dominated by Lawrenson and Hansen (even though I just did).

So yeah, Liverpool irritate me and it's not just the punditry! Some other reasons Kiny mentioned, and Anfield too! That place is just jinxed for us!

West Ham irritate me recently as they have manufactured us as their main rivals this past decade or so. I was confused when Sky and BT started building this as a massive rivalry. They were only ever a London derby to win for me.

I've never minded Man Utd, and in fairness, Wenger would have won about 5 more titles if it wasn't for them, so they are just fine with me.

Yeah, but it would not be rammed in your face by Tony from Plymouth who has never been near Liverpool......

Well the Manchester City Liverpool game last weekend was a terrific game.

The only teams that bother me are the ones in front of us during the season. And right now that is only Chelsea.

Chav's - their fans are the most supercilious than any other club that's had success, I've yet to find any of them that have a degree of modesty around their hard-cash bought success.

Tend to agree in a way Ex, the other usual suspects won trophies and dominated before the mega money entered football, so they do have a legacy of winning by fairer means than the FOUL Chavs...........

Spammers, since when were they our rival ?
Deluded little club who spend a couple of successive seasons in the PL and think they are major players and are on the same level as Spurs.

West Ham. We have very little reason for them to be a rival, but they absolutely despise us more than anyone and in turn, makes me dispise them. They really do suffer with thinking that they're much bigger than they are, living off the back ofnthe fact they had a few players in the 66 World Cup side.

They really do wish they were us and it's pretty pathetic. Awful club, awful fans and bloody irritating!
