Where will we finish the season? January 2017 Poll

Well? Any improvement in your outlook? Wednesday is huge but only if you think we have a shot at winning the league, otherwise it is just another game.....well not really, there is a little matter of retribution.

I went for third and I can't see me changing my mind for the foreseeable future. City are off form while Chelsea and Liverpool just keep winning.

I stay with my prediction for 3rd.

80, after 19 games it might be a good time to bump the first prediction thread of the season.

3rd is a shootout between us and the scum.

I hope pool don't win the league

It's a tough won, Pool or Chavs?

If we're not going to win it, I hope City grab it, hate for either to be winning it.

I'm still saying 5th at this moment. We'll do very well to finish ahead of all of Chavs, Scum, Pool and City and now that Utd appear to have hit their stride they're also going to be looking to crash the party.

I know we've topped our 19 game points tally, but look at some of the games we've dropped them in. Unless we mirror our 39 points again in the second half of the season, I can't see us finishing in the top 4 this season. Unlike last year, it's incredibly competetive with so few mistakes being made.

.

Fair point - but aren't you overlooking another team that seem to have hit their stride ?

Agreed. The big teams have turned up so we can't have many slip ups.

Reckon we will need to get our highest points tally in the prem to get a CL place.

No mind changing from me. We are in the battle for 4th-6th, but won't get top four.

Last year was the weakest PL ever with three of the big four not showing up, yet we managed to choke and pulled third from the jaws of second. A few lessons were learned but this year so far most of the big four have shown up, and Liverpool are re-emeging under a quality coach and without the distraction of Europe.

I cannot see us being ahead of ars*nal, Chelsea or City or Liverpool really. United are the worry for us.

I have gone for 6th. I believe Chelsea will probably win it, and I can't see us finishing above Pool, City, Arse, or even Utd. As much as I hate comparing success with money, that's how it works out. Of course, 5th wouldn't surprise me, but top 4 would amaze me. Unfortunately we have to spend a year at Wembley next season, and then we have a few years to settle down at the new lane. I would ask every Spurs supporter to be realistic about our short term future, as I think things are likely to get worse before they ever get better.

We will break our points tally, but just breaking it won't do - I reckon at least 77-78 points. It's also about not losing(or preferably beating) in games vs our direct rivals.

Arse an ManC are in terrible form and both have CL football, Pool are not convincing and now lost Henderson to injury and Mane to AFCON. We are in a better position than these teams to make it happen.

A win today will really send the signal.

A win today will do very good things for Spurs. On multiple levels.

I've gone for 4th, I really think Chelsea and pool without European football will be difficult to dislodge. If M.U. beat pool this weekend I might change my views, Le Arse for 3rd and the to mancs out of top 4

1st!
Not Happy nor Clappy, just even more confident that we are capable of first and, for all the endless reasons I've been spouting for 1 1/2 seasons now.

Given the stiff opposition, I think a top 4 spot is more than acceptable.

We'll see.

I have changed my 'incredible 4th' to an amazing 3rd...80's optimism got the better of me...

Still think this is the toughest top 4 competition we've seen in years.

IF (and it's a big IF) we stay undefeated past the Bin Dippers away fixture (winning at Sunderland and at the lane vs Boro, as well as beating one of City and Scousers) then I can't see us finishing any lower than 3rd again. With the Chavs playing both Pool and Scum, as long as we win we either catch it we pull away. This next 4 weeks is huge!
