Has NiceImp entered?Tick Tock. Time is running out to get your entries in.
Completely at random?Question for Barney if he's on here. As our resident math expert, what are the pure probabilities (leaving out skill factors such as accurately assessing a side and narrowing down where they are likely to finish) of getting e.g. 2, 6, 12 or 24 places spot on? Dang I hated probabilities when I was at school.
Nice one Barney and thank you. More chance of winning Euro Millions than placing all 24 correctly.Completely at random?
All 24 would be 1/24! Which is 1/(24 x 23 x 22 down to x 3 x 2 x 1).
Which is 1 in 6.2 x 10^23.
Two places would be 1 in 24 x 23 or 552
Six places would be 24 x 23 x 22 x 21 x 20 x 19.
And so on.
