Where Will They Finish for Season 2022-2023

Again due to overwhelming demand the competition will be run for next season. which is due begin on 30th July 2022.

The twist for this season is that I will donate to charity of the winners choice the sum of £100.00 if they achieve 9 exact places at the end of the season. In the case of more than one person predicting 9 exact places then rule 4 applies.

The rules are the same as previous seasons and are listed below. Please read them before posting your entry (especially rule 6).
Also is it requested that people do not comment on other peoples predictions.

Good luck to all.

Rules are simple:

Rule 1. The aim of the competition is to predict where all the teams in League One will be placed after the final league game at the end of the season.

Rule 2. 3 points will be awarded for predicting the exact place and 1 point is awarded for being one position out (above or below).

Rule 3. Entries must be posted before the first game of the season has kicked off.

Rule 4. Final rankings in the case of entries scoring the same number of points will ranked as following;

  • The total score (number of points);
  • The total number of exact places predicted;
  • Then by the date/time of entering your predictions (i.e. if your prediction is in first you will be put in front of someone enters after you). Therefore, the earlier the entry the higher in the table the player will be if there are multiple entries with same number of points.
Rule 5. By any chance a team does not start or complete the season then a decision will be posted on how predictions for that team will be calculated and this will be posted.

Rule 6. The list of teams is in this thread below.
Just copy, re-order (in to your predictions) and then post into this thread.
PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE TEAM NAMES TO NICKNAMES OR ANOTHER FORMAT, INCLUDING PUTTING NUMBERS IN FRONT.
(Entries posted will be directly copied onto a spreadsheet. Therefore, if you change a team name, miss-spell one or make a double entry you may lose points. If you notice you have made a mistake please notify me as soon as possible so I can correct the mistake. If you do not notify me then I cannot be held responsible for you not scoring the correct points).

Rule 7 - Only one entry per person

The team list is as follows: (corrected)

Accrington Stanley
Barnsley
Bolton Wanderers
Bristol Rovers
Burton Albion
Cambridge United
Charlton Athletic
Cheltenham Town
Derby
Exeter
Fleetwood Town
Forest Green Rovers

Thanks for doing this again Salford. The pre season boredom is driving me nuts.
Also with very little transfer rumours in and out it is far too quiet.
I thought last seasons league looked very strong and challenging but it looks even more daunting this season than ever.
Obviously some of the so called big clubs are going to be dissapointed at the end of this season yet again.
