"When you put your hand in a fence where there is a lion, you will get bitten."

For most people that's good advice. Unfortunately for Wales and Ospreys hooker Scott Baldwin the advice came a little too late.

That's because they are the wise words of Baldwin's boss Steve Tandy, after the 29-year-old missed his team's latest Pro14 fixture because he had been bitten by a lion.

Flintoff would've punched it and then given it a drink as they made up.

To be fair the photo used in the story is of a cub, so I'm not sure if he was bitten playfully by a cub or tried to stroke one of the big buggers.

Yeah, saw this on Breakfast on tv this morning. Must say, he must be a bit of a plank to do that even when advised not to.

But, there's always one....

Watch the video, it shows the incident in full.

Mind blowingly stupid. Can't get my head around that, nor can his coach by the sounds of that interview lol

It's no different to the people who have pictures with Tigers etc. You're taking a huge chance no matter how 'tame' or 'trained' they are.

I put my hand in my fighter fishes tank today, I guess I was just as reckless :3:
