It is because they think they have a god given right to always be better tan all other teams and should be allowed to buy who they like, having first pick of players.

Then to stop anyone else from interfering they get a petition up to stop team like City ruining football, what they really meant was upsetting the status quo They were quite happy for the Sky4 to carry on each year deciding and dividing the pot between them.

What City and Sky did with the money coming into the game was open the race for the title and if you are wise in your buying you can make a team without having to pay the inflated prices that City have to endure.
