When comedians made me laugh..

I recall a story that after the war, Douglas Bader was invited to give a talk to a girls school about his exploits, and after an enthusiastic first fifteen minutes of his talk, the headmistress stopped him to explain to the girls that Fokkers were a type of German Aircraft. 'Yes' says Bader 'but these fokkers were in Messerschmidts'...
