What should be Pep's first move?

I think it needs to be radical. Get a hard man in as skipper and get this squad pulled together.

I think we are too nice. Some players were chatting with Arsenal players ar the end today as if across the garden fence.

Shake it up and that mentality out of our club.

I think you have it spot on, we want to be a nice Club, but we continually come across Clubs that assassinate some of our players, we need to get tougher, but getting a new Skipper is going to be difficult.

I would love to hear some suggestions (but not Pepe, we want some one who wont get banned every three matches)

Some might say he's already made his first move in last summer's transfer market.

As for captain, I wonder if Hart might get it?

I do agree that we lack a nasty side, I'm sure Pep will put that right.

Otamendi could possibly be a decent captain?
As for Pep, he must be wondering what he was thinking about signing on----oh wait, decent salary!

Ask his Tailor to make his jackets a tad longer. He sports what used to be known as the arse perisher.

We need. A uk captain does Stones have stones?
We need a leader of men I don't think keepers are the right position to do that

Fernando is ok, but ok doesn't really cut it anymore. A really good defensive midfielder to sit in front of the back four and make sure the stable door is always bolted shut.

Why do we need a UK captain? The current Belgian one is pretty good. (if a bit broken :006: )

JB -Spot on with the hard man. We need to find the new Roy Keane/Souness type to bring a bit of fear into the dressing room. Apparently Pep is a disciplinarian so wont stand for shite.

Dont think there is a team in the EPL that fear for their legs when they play us but mention Everton and Stoke and Shawcross Adams et al and sometimes we shit ourselves for Merlin Kevin and Kun.

Name one hard man UK Captain type currently playing, can't think of one candidate. I would go for big Nic, a keeper as a captain does not work IMO.

Otamendi for captain - seriously?

My abiding memory of this tough, uncompromising defender is him collapsing as if poleaxed towards the end of the Watford game, presumably in a pathetic attempt to get an opponent sent off. If that makes him skipper material then I suggest we are not interested in the type of qualities Kompany brings to the post - and hopefully he will still be here next season and raring to go after a restful summer - VK4 that is, I wouldn't lose any sleep if Otamendi went back to Spain, or on loan at Celtic.

I expect we'd only spend another £30m+ on bringing in another centre half. Perhaps Denayer will get the nod or we'll remember that you don't need to break the bank in order to win the league, even with the addition of the City premium.

With you on that KCT, there were a few pathetic diving incidents, one which led directly to a goal against, can't recall who against.

There was also the goal against West Ham from the throw in when he was slow to react because he was fixing his hair.

Not NO, he needs to concentrate on his game, personally i would have gone for Zabaleta, but fear he will not be here next season.

The only one that I think would be qualified would be F25, but as for a UK Captain don't think so.

If VK goes, then are we looking at a new Club Captain from outside the Club, this would be a rare event, no.

Not necessarily, he may well give it to Joe Hart if VK does not stay, he is the longest serving player here and Joe Corrigan was Captain at one point and I do not think it will affect his game, but ideally I would prefer it not to be the goalkeeper.

Aguero, Sterling, DeBruyne, Iheanacho, Otamendi, Hart plus both Ferns. Players most likely to still be here, so maybe the goalie it is?

Pep's first move should be to sell Yaya, whatever the cost.
Second move should be to get Pogba in, whatever the cost.
Third move should be to sign Iheanacho long term.
Fourth move should be to listen to offers for Kompany, Zaba, Kolarov, and Clichy.
