What is thr first TV show you remember watching as a child! Warning: this is a likely age give away thread :14:

Mine is residual memories of watching Prince Charles investiture. We were given a say off school for that.

The other is the moon landings when I was about 8 also.

(NOTE: This is not a discussion of your beliefs on the moon lands. It is a do you remember thread)
 
I think The X-Files was the first proper show I watched when I was around 10 or 11.

It certainly paved the way for a lot of shows after.
 
Watch with Mother , featuring Pogles Wood , Camberwick Green and Mary Mungo and Midge.

Always used to have an orange when it was on.
 
Knightmare. I used to run home from school to watch it!

1/ The Black and White Minstrel Show
2/ The Billy Cotton Show
3/ Dr Who
4/ Watch with Mother

I can't remember which was the earliest.

The Quatermass Experiment 1953. I remember it really scared me. only watched a couple of episodes.

Fantastic show - the streets were empty when it was on. (We were afraid of meeting Victor Carroon!)
