I cant believe there is not another thread about this already. Lets speculate. What do you think happened to it? Human error? Terrorists? Aliens?

I think it was stolen. It will either end up on ebay next time there is a free listing weekend or the chinese nicked it to copy and start manufacturing their version of the Boeing 777 called Bow-Win 777

Well what are your thoughts?

I wonder if anyone has thought to try and trace the mobile phones that were on board? I read somewhere that there were 19 mobile phone that still had signal and were ringing out.

Haven't they said there were a couple of fuel spills showing in the sea where the plane might have gone down?

Samples of the fuel spillage shows the fuel was from a ship JF.

It seems they have now widened the search to the Strait of Melaka.... so that is between the southeast coast of Malaysia and the Indonesian island of Sumartra. Which seems strange as the flight was heading for Baijing which is north. So they seem to be saying it may of turned back, but then went past Kuala Lumpur........

Which, tells me it may of been hijacked. BUT, why no radar tracking, no signals, no nothing.

They seem to think it has 'gone down', but has anyone considered it may of 'gone up'? No mayday, no nothing as I said. It's like it has just been lifted out of the sky......

A poorly maintained plane now lies on the seabed.

Which plane is that then?

Malaysian Airlines are well maintained. I flew back to the UK on a Malaysian Airlines flight (777) and it is a safe plane run by a good company. I wouldn't of flew all that way back with someone I wasn't confident of.

:14:

Has anyone else heard about the 19 mobile phone still with signal? I cant remember where I read it or how reliable the source was.

Various conspiracy theories listed here:

The missing flight MH370 is a tragic story, officials have told relatives to “expect the worst”. In days gone by people would have assumed the plane had crashed, the passengers had died and would all feel pretty sad about it. But nowadays we expect answers immediately, we’re used to Googling our question and being told exactly whatagwan. But that’s not always the way things pan out. The ocean is a big place and humans are small. If a plane’s gone down and sunk it’s not actually that shocking that we can’t find it.

Yeah but the plane would have broken up on impact so you would expect some debris still floating also there would have been fuel floating around the area.I think it's not likely to be a terrorist attack as surely they would have wanted the eyes of the World to witness it.

Spot on gator.

Definitely some sick warped minds would of raised themselves out of the pit to shout about it, but nothing......

One thing for sure Pride it's a fascinating situation why was there no mayday call even if it had been hijacked the cabin doors are kept locked these days so if hijackers were trying to get in the pilot would have made a distress call only way would have had to been some sort of explosion giving the pilot no chance so where is the debris very mysterious indeed.
