What does 2017 have in store for you?

Just trying to cheer myself up a bit by thinking of the good things planned for this year.

Getting married in April, which also involves trips to Vegas, Hawaii, San Fran and LA which will be ok I suppose.

Also taking Buddy to Disneyland for his 2nd birthday while we're there.

Then got a Coldplay gig in Paris in June to look forward to after that.


What about the rest of you lot?
 
Well, for Mrs BBJ and myself, it'll be the usual round of parties, clubs and cruises to exotic locations.
 
I don't know. Nothing interesting planned.

2016 was a bit of a difficult one with my work/life balance getting totally messed up. I guess my ambition for 2016 is to get work sorted out so that I can have a life outside of work.

I'm pretty well on course to be debt free sometime in 2016, all things remaining the same. That would be good.

No big holidays planned this year but after 0 camping trips in 2016, I'm hoping to do 2 or 3 this year.

I had hoped to be invited to a friends wedding in Vegas but that's been crushed so I have nothing left.

I am buying a new suit!

I'm hoping that when I go to buy the new suit I don't end up half dead the next day having forced copious amounts of alcohol down me like when we went on the test run!

I have a wedding in Vegas, it's not mine but I wouldn't be surprised to wake up one morning married whilst over there. I also believe I will win a $1m on a slot machine with my first (and only) bet.

Coldplay in Paris

Possibly no other holiday as the money is already stacking up.

Want a proper good run at the gym this year having had a stop / start sort of 2016 (thanks to injuries and ops)

Iron Maiden gig also booked.
 
Yeah, got a couple booked, one in the 82 and one posh one in the McGregor. Think I'm meeting Under Armour at a match as well so that would be prawns also!

So in a way, that's a vital get together, just it's only me off here going to them! :2:
 
I hope it has in store a damn site more peaceful year than last year, as last year was a round of hospitals and serious health issues for Mr KK.

This year has in store our yearly month in Kefelonia in May/June. It is Mr KK 60th this September so we will go away somewhere. I will look for last minutes.

We have decided to leave going to Canada this year as where our daughter and son in law have moved too, means the journey is way too long and way too cold down in Yukon for us, especially Mr KK.

They will move next year as our son in law will move every 1-2 years with his career now. So we will wait until next year now.

So other plans: a few more trips down to the family in Wales, some trips to Villa Park, I will have my spiritual retreat weekend away. Some nights out with my girlfriends at the theatre planned and oh oh I will think of more.

Comp wins and getting back into my Greek language studies now we are in The New Year and count down is on to Kef which is 20 weeks away

Also our eldest and his wife are trying for a baby so hopefully this year we will beable to announce we will become Grandparents again

Most importantly to focus on is the continued improvement of Mr KK's health. Here's the carrying on confounding the Dr's :14:
 
Get established in my new job and all settled. Now that the kids are all off we are thinking seriously about moving back towards Brum, not sure where yet. Would be nice to be back in striking distance of VP. I mean family.

A move should see us debt free so that would be nice! Can think of holidays once we have the rest sorted.

Also want to remove he final stone in weight so that will be something to look forward to.
 
I'm fighting Tyson Fury on the cobbles then recording a duet with 80's pop sensation Sonia for a charity single in aid of hemorrhoids suffers. Then I'm going to eat ice cream in Richard Hammonds car with Danny Dyer.
 
Hoping to get some work done on the house. Been in it 6 years and after intial getting things straight and how we want and a couple of years of enjoying it ready to get it bit more done. Hopefully extending across front of house.

Usual few days away with Mrs melon when junior melons go away with grandparents. Although there is a certain date at wembley in May which would clash with this. (Mrs melon isnt aware of this yet :10: )
 
I'm going to Ireland for a few days in March. Going to New York during the Easter holidays. Also heading back to Dubai yet again in June. I'm hoping to get some progression in my job, whether that means I switch jobs altogether and go to work back in the hospital or whether I succeed in getting onto the District Nurse specialist practitioner course. It's a 12 month course through either University of Wolverhampton or Birmingham City University. You get seconded from your work place so they pay for your course and you go on placements to different District Nurse teams to gain management skills before you are able to then go for a Band 6 Charge Nurse job in the community. I went for interview last summer and did get an appointable score but I came 3rd out of 8 and there was only 2 spaces so maybe this year.

Also this year Ant will qualify as a teacher so hopefully he will get his first teaching job and then we hopefully might press on with buying our own place. Hopefully a busy year.
 
Working on house and a trip to the States (for the first time) in the summer. Other than that I will be deviding my time between home, wok and sleep as usual.
