What do you think of Obama?

BodyButter

Vital Football Legend
He came into office with such hysteria that it would probably be impossible for anyone to live upto the hype. He's now in his second term so what do you make of Obama?

Neutral.. Hasn't done much either way for me. Ok, I'm only a Brit living in Indonesia, I suppose thisis a question more aimed towards our friends "across the pond"

He is a puppet for the large corporations, he was chosen to keep the liberals on side, he will be vilified before the end of his second term to make way for the next puppet who will appease the relevant voters.

Politics is a game, politicians dont have power, they are spokespeople for the bankers and arms dealers.

Even if he wanted to do good things, he wouldnt be allowed.

Although if you are playing along with this soap operan he has killed more innocent civilians with Drones than Bush did.

He called BP, 'British Petroleum' which every fool knows is not what they are called, that is all I know of him!

One for those over the pond I think, not affected my residency in Redditch as yet and I've not really got a major opinion either way on this President I'm afraid.

Sorry I can't be a bit more helpful for the thread!

Cant say I know to much about american politics but my opinion is that he's a little unlucky. Bush basically left him with a giant pile of shit to clean up, 2 unpopular and probably unwinnable wars and an economic crisis.
If I remember correct the senate is controlled by the republicans which means that everything he wants to do becomes a battle. The left are disappointed because they dont think he's been liberal enough and the right were always going to hate him anyway.

He turns into a right prick when he's had a drink, and his missus gives a great blow job.

That's all I know.

He is kind a Tony Blair with a goofy accent, I see him as a President who was re-elected by the little guy, black afro Americans who wanted the Medical reform bill to go through.

He seems to want policies which will make him popular the recent attempt to reform gun law went no where as the gun lobby is massive in the states. He cant get his fiscal policies through because he does not have the Senate and ditto the medical bill.

A limp dick president with not much going for him, he is now treading water on Syria as he was the one who got the American Troops out of Afghan so he don't want to be the one to send them back to Syria.

If it was for Mr Popular I doubt he would win as America is a troubled country at the moment.

Just one question, do you really believe that what happens across the pond has no effect on your life?

Pray tell, oh genius of satirical wit, what does BP stand for in your world of unending mirth?

Isn't it just BP now-a-days? Like KFC.

Well intentioned but largely ineffectual.

"Well intentioned" Just out of interest, What leads you to that belief?

His desire to improve the healthcare system is one big thing.

I reckon he is hung like an Hos apart from this i have no other major opinion of him!

Desire! Has he done it? How many politicians spout off such desires? All of them, How many deliver? None of them, I stand to be corrected on that, and hope I can be, I'm sure there are those out there whose desires are real, who would like to make a difference, but I have little faith in politicians, a desire to hold such office should immediately bar you from it, with very few exceptions, in my humble opinion.

We all know that if they stopped killing innocent people with drones, rockets, missiles, RPGs, mortars, and other death dealing bits of metal for just a few weeks, that would be sufficient cash to overhaul the healthcare system, but it hasn't been done, and yes, it really can be that simple, but first it has to be what they want, and it isn't.

Obama has acted illegally many times, acted against the constitution of his own country, he has stripped rights from his people, just like our Gov, do a google search, there is loads on this guy, but he's still just a puppet.

I'm not sure what this has to do with this thread but I thought it was funny:
