TRUE BELIEVER
Vital Football Hero
As I said to CoW, it's fair to assume (all other things being above board) that if he had the money to take the majority shareholding of NLF, and pay back the loan to IEC, then he also had the funds to pay the bills at Wigan........... if he wanted.
Now, he may not have paid for those shares, and he may not have repaid the loan, so he may not have had the money personally to keep on paying bills ........ but that isn't the point.
None of what's gone on since going into admin makes sense ...................... and that starts with the advice that was given (or not given) at the time.
There are people far cleverer than us that are struggling to understand the motive behind Au Yeungs actions, and there is a very great chance that we will never understand. I have said from day one that there is no "legal" way that he could recoup any of the losses by going down this route. There are many theories being expounded from all sides as to which of the illegal routes was taken, but again the evidence is pure speculation.
The same speculation is now being targeted on the administration process and Krasner & Co. The thing with all this is that this is an emotive issue and people are looking for someone to blame, human nature, unfortunately most of what is being said is complete bollocks and only serves to raise the blood pressure and stress levels of those reading it.
The problem in all of this is that we, the fans, are tearing ourselves apart and the bickering has risen to unprecedented levels. We need to stick together and maintain the faith. This situation will rumble on for a little while yet but we need to back ourselves, in the form of the SC, and hope that we come through this with a club to support.
