What do we actually owe?

As I said to CoW, it's fair to assume (all other things being above board) that if he had the money to take the majority shareholding of NLF, and pay back the loan to IEC, then he also had the funds to pay the bills at Wigan........... if he wanted.

Now, he may not have paid for those shares, and he may not have repaid the loan, so he may not have had the money personally to keep on paying bills ........ but that isn't the point.

None of what's gone on since going into admin makes sense ...................... and that starts with the advice that was given (or not given) at the time.

There are people far cleverer than us that are struggling to understand the motive behind Au Yeungs actions, and there is a very great chance that we will never understand. I have said from day one that there is no "legal" way that he could recoup any of the losses by going down this route. There are many theories being expounded from all sides as to which of the illegal routes was taken, but again the evidence is pure speculation.

The same speculation is now being targeted on the administration process and Krasner & Co. The thing with all this is that this is an emotive issue and people are looking for someone to blame, human nature, unfortunately most of what is being said is complete bollocks and only serves to raise the blood pressure and stress levels of those reading it.

The problem in all of this is that we, the fans, are tearing ourselves apart and the bickering has risen to unprecedented levels. We need to stick together and maintain the faith. This situation will rumble on for a little while yet but we need to back ourselves, in the form of the SC, and hope that we come through this with a club to support.

Undeniable though that the advice to put us into administration 3 weeks before the conclusion of the season was illogical. If you can give me a good reason then I’m all ears.

All this rubbish and crap about what went on its finished done

See the line I've drawn under it move on ffs

The administrators already have background to the events leading up to / the reason for administration from Kenneth.

"Walker Morris wrote to Mr Yeung’s solicitors on behalf of the Joint Administrators requesting a Zoom interview with him and his Hong Kong advisors to establish the facts from his side as to what had occurred. The solicitors confirmed that Mr Yeung was willing to cooperate and agree to the interview on the basis that it was kept
private and certain other conditions, none of which were considered as onerous by the Administrators.
The interview took place on Tuesday 21 July 2020 and lasted for just over an hour. We can confirm that Mr Yeung was fully cooperative and answered all questions directly through an interpreter rather than his solicitors answering on his behalf. Some of the information that was obtained during this interview proved very useful in dealing with certain aspects of the appeal against the club’s 12 point deduction.
The investigation is continuing and as at 31 July 2020 no final agreement has been reached. Further details will be included in the Joint Administrators’ next progress report where necessary."

At some point , when the club is finally out of this mess (and he has no further ties) , sacked staff, part paid creditors and supporters .... deserve proper answers.

People, please. Let's keep it sensible.

The Admins have:
- sold players for far less than they were worth (due to circumstances, maybe)
- sometimes (often?) contradicted themselves in what they've said
- played a weird game with bidders (especially the Americans)

The Admins haven't:
- fleeced us
- filtered money for their own gain
- done anything crooked

There's no point suggesting otherwise.

There more things go on I fear by the end of this saga we may need to revise the things they haven't done list. No doubt it will all be within their legal remit but I think Simon Jordan nailed it the other day with his characterisation of them.

Nixon says they have taken the sale money from euxton to cover their fees. Id call. That fleecing wouldn't you??

Securing payment of work done.
Just because you dont like the admin and you are following the other muppets on here in hating everything they are doing, doesnt mean they shouldnt be paid.
How is that theirs to take? They're taking the piss as the cost of having them is more than an average administrator. Ask simon jordan and other people in the know on that. Hes someone who you may not like but has been involved in football first hand. Unlike our so called experts on here backing the admin up. 10 grand a day is a fucking disgrace for the job they've done. We had an acceptable offerweeks ago and they rebuffed it. They said early on they were being paid by yeung which is it???

Disgusting

Each day how can their time be worth 10k? Can't see when Jonathan Jackson was here he was on more than 120k so that would be around £350 a day. What they doing to substantiate that wage?

If those leeches have taken there 1.3m fees from the Euxton sale I want to know how much we now actually owe.Whatever that is should reflect the price of the club, stadium and training ground as a package surely.
1.3m to non football creditors(25%)
1.3m in legal and agent fees
What else do we owe apart from tax and how much is that and when and how can it be paid?
Surely as the administrators have used the Euxton money for their fees that price of 3.5m(excluding chippy) needs to come down!

Next time I see Simon Jordan ill ask him

If only these bloody lot had got a semi respectable fee for Kroger Moore and others they would be away by now. Or would they while they're charging £500 an hour to drag it out.
A brace for Keifer yesterday. What is his value now Bregbies?
