What did you have for dinner tonight ?

Sous Vide steak - rare
Grilled vegetables
Rice
Caesar salad

And a glass of Fess Parker Syrah

All in about 60 minutes.
 
I'm a philistine; can't stand rare steak; dreadful stuff!

Chicken Ceasar salad is a favourite.

But last night was chicken casserole, slow cooked all day; 'twas magnificant, washed down with a glass of Macon Village, fabulous.
 
I enjoyed a chicken pasta dish with parmesan cheese sauce and glass of sauv blanc. I did have coq au vin on Sunday with luxury mash and cauliflower cheese. Which is where the wine was first drunk. Didn't really go with Monday and Tuesday offerings.
 
Spoilt again tonight....slow roast belly pork with Apple sauce glaze and dauphinoise potatoes. Afters....lemon cheesecake and cream.
 
Grainy mustard works on pork tenderloin really well. Especially if you sous vide it.

Got to be English, none of this Jessie pansy French stuff...
 
Last night was a good few beers, followed by a great curry, and a few bottles of red, plus a few extra beers.

happy days.
