Defo, i dunno if these modern mags am any good for the kids nowadays but back then they was brilliant, i will confess though i had some pics on one wall of some of my fave non Villa players, i had Shearer Andy Cole Cantona Yeboah, Schmeichel, Beardsley, Adams, Gazza, McManaman, Sutton, Keane, Ruel Fox, Pearce, Collymore, Roy, Hendry, Flowers, and a few others :3:

Actually when i think about it even when i was a kid growing up in the 80's and 90's we used to sing his leader of the gang song, which is scary now looking back :10:

I had lots of MV Augusta bikes. Barry Sheene on the Suzuki, Mick Grant and Barry Ditchburn on Kawasakis Giacomo Agostini on MV Phil Reed on MV
Various Bikes. Page 3 calendar. Villa pictures from 3rd Division days etc

I used to pin up weeks and weeks of Top 20 charts. I could log all the positions a particular single had been and how many weeks etc. Oh and some Beatles & Kinks posters...

When i hit the late teens 16 onwards my pictures changed to pics out of Nuts magazinr and Max Power oh what was her name Jo Guest and Jordan back in the 96 onwards those pair was spralled out bending over sports cars arrrr man, i was into sports cars then as i had Xr2i's and XR3i with an RS Warrior bodykit and was pictured in Max Power once in Western Supa Mare.

I wanted to have my room full of a person I admired and idolised.

So got a few photos of me blown up to poster size.

Had a pic of Johnny Dixon sat on the shoulders of team mates holding the 1957 F.A.CUP
never had pic of car did go to see 007s Aston Martin from thunderball at the Palace cinema in erdington high street.

Match and Shoot magazines! That takes me back.

Didn't so much put the posters up but remember those wall charts that came with those mags?

Like a HUGE poster with little slits cut into it for all 4 divisions, then you had little cardboard tokens with all the clubs names on and you could insert / remove them each week to update your league able on the wall. Awesome!

I remember something like that with the league tables, my McGrath i feel old ffs lol

Dean, I had one of them, and I all the Premier League around, we were 4-1 u against Leicester with 13 minutes to play, it was a late result, and the commentator came on the radio and said - has there been any late drama at Villa Par - Yes there has Leicester have equalised......

I was about 13, and not happy, the poster which had been carefully updated with love and affection was ripped off the wall, screwed into a ball and kicked around until I was angry no more, lol.

I remember that match.

I left the ground early (think they had got 1 back so it was 4-2) when I left, and walked down to the corner where the number 7 buses parked up.

Got on the bus and someone told me it was 4-4. I thought they were lying till someone got it on the radio.

No wasn't the Leicester match 3-3 and it was the bloody Wimbledon away game we was 4-1 up and then that Ekoku fecker scored goals for them and Robbie Earle to make it 4-4 or ami getting them mixed up?

As a young teen I had a large near full size poster of a slim young nubile wench pop starlet who went by the name of Kim Wilde. Smouldering looks, pouting mouth, a sort of "just got out of bed" blonde hair, skin tight jeans and white figure hugging jumper. This poster was fixed above my bed so when I woke up she was the first thing I saw. She was the epitome of sex goddess to me. Please excuse me whilst I go and take a cold shower...... the odd thing was that on the other walls I had Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin posters etc and I had a 3D poster of Friday 13th with 3D glasses so when you put them on it looked like Jason was coming through the window frame of the picture - awesome
