What are you cooking during lockdown?

This might sound a daft question, but do you need to cook it in some way or can it be eaten raw ?
Just a quick word of warning - if you do eat it raw, pace yourself. It contains an enzyme (bromelain) which breaks down proteins...including the ones that make up you. Cooking it denatures the enzyme, but just be aware that it can make your mouth sore if you eat a lot of it raw!

Slice it in half length ways. Top and tail it, remove the core middle, put some cremê fraiche in it and eat using a grapefruit spoon. Delicious. Or you could check out below. (y)

Yes, agreed. Or cut it 4 lengthways, remove core, and scoop out the flesh with a knife, and chop it into chunks. Whichever way, I would have with vanilla ice cream. And single cream is also good

Or cut in (thick) slices, cut off skin and remove core, and eat the pineapple ring in your fingers
