Tonight was my effort of spirali carbonara made with smoked bacon and mushrooms and an added leftover chicken breast and cream, washed down with rose cider over ice. Mrs E very happy

We're finally getting around to doing the aubergine dumplings parmigiana style. But we discovered we only have 1 aubergine so it's going to be aubergine/squash dumplings instead.

Pollock, tuna and king prawns in a korma-spiced sauce with wholemeal fusili for us tonight. Now a few drinks while we play a drawing game with the Mrs's sister and friends over zoom; damson gin for her, Glenfiddich Select Cask - Solera no.1 for me.
