She said it was only recently, when she demanded to see the officer’s video footage, that the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence. Ms Gramby said she contacted Anglesey council in January and asked to view the video evidence filmed on the officer’s body cam and was told to call back two days later to make an appointment to come in. At first they said they couldn’t show me the footage due to data protection, but I argued that the footage was of me so I had a right to see it,” she said. “They asked me to call back in two days but all of a sudden, I got another letter telling me there was no longer a penalty due to a lack of evidence.”
My thoughts on said company are probably best left unsaid but I know I'm legally safe in saying it's about time they learned about the DPA if they want to quote it in future.
