Rangers confident of Anthony Weston deal amid Leeds and Everton interest
Rangers are quietly confident that they will be able to see off competition from the likes of Leeds United and Everton for the signature of young striker Anthony Weston, according to a report from The Sun.

The 16-year-old has been involved with the Blackpool first-team on two occasions this season. And he was given the chance to make his senior debut in the FA Cup back in December.

He had previously been in superb form for the Tangerines’ youth team, scoring 14 goals before then-manager Simon Grayson involved him in the first-team plans.
And he is now attracting plenty of attention. The Sun reports that Everton are interested in signing the teenager as they look to increase the number of exciting prospects within their ranks.

However, Championship leaders Leeds are also reportedly keen on Weston – who previously missed out on a £250,000 move to Southampton.

The Sun reports however, that Steven Gerrard is quietly confident of bringing the striker to Ibrox.

Tough decision for Weston with Everton, Leeds and Rangers keen
It will not be easy for Weston to make a decision on his future. And with Neil Critchley now at the helm at Bloomfield Road, staying at Blackpool surely cannot be ruled out.
Everton could not make it more obvious that the path is clear for a youngster. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been one of the most exciting players in the Premier League this season having arrived as a prospect from Sheffield United.
Weston may find that the easiest path to first-team football may take him to Ibrox. Rangers have some brilliant depth up front in their first-team ranks. However, there looks to be an opportunity for a young player to put a little pressure on in the future.
Meanwhile, it looks to be an incredibly exciting time to join Leeds. Of course, there looks to be some uncertainty over their situation right now.

But if they can get across the promotion line, moving to Elland Road will also be difficult for Weston to turn down.

Hardie wasn’t given a chance at Rangers and he‘s more chance of making a breakthrough with us so you can rule them out. Only seen him the once against Maidstone maybe few more matches like that will decide what happens.

bit early to make judgement he looked lively against maidstone. When we've paid out for Nuttall and Hardie it's hard to see him getting a chance.
hope it doesn't turn out to be a Barkhuzen situation thought he was a good lad he's doing well down the road now
