6 dodgy wingersFinal ball is as bad as I've seen it. Their keeper hasn't made a save. We're too 1 dimensional. Need a player who can unlock defences we have 6 fucking wingers
Can't really argue with any of that tnmw, there's some annoying things that keep happening though, especially not turning up like today and as for Eddie's mind boggling subs well. We will have to go some to get top 6 now but with nufc you never knowNow's not the time to talk of manager changes but I agree that criticism can't be discounted on the back of an eventual cup win and Howe is fair game to be shot at.
This game was just typical NUFC when the commentators have been saying for weeks of West Ham's bad run and I was looking to see when they'd face us as it was obvious that we'd be the side that allows someone's run to end. Can't forget Derby's 11 point season where they took 4 points off us.
As for today it has to be put down as a day to forget as we were just utter shite in every department. Not sure if there's a sick bug going round but there was no excuse for a lack of energy or pace plus the subs were just baffling at times like Howe was trying new things out to try and kick start our game.
I said top 4 in the Summer and although our performances this season, today apart, have arguably deserved more points, unless we buck up our away ideas then we'll be lucky to get conference league at best, if that at all.
Still early days though with 28 games to go. That's 84 points left to play for with last season seeing us need 66 points to get in the CL. This means that we'd need 54 points. This equates to 18 wins or an accumulation of so many wins and draws.
The club needs an inquest tomorrow and a reset. One bad performance doesn't make us a bad side and we need to remember that. The gap to top 4 is only 6 points. That has to be the target moving forward.

Brighton away aside (as I was out on the drink in the toon and didnt watch it or bother with the highlights due to knowing we got beat), you could argue that we could have and maybe should have won all of our other away games as the chances were there.Fair summing up but its not just one bad game. The away form is poor and I cannot see us improving enough to rectify this. Far too inconsistent and too many players under performing.
Full backs returning and Wissa will make a difference hopefully.
Guimares apologising to fans yet againwas predictable.
This season will be a crucial test for Howe.
Cannot see us making Europe next season
Gordon in that first half - time and time again he waited until Joelinton overlapped before turning inside and losing the ball. Why would you do that? if I were Joe I would be having a quiet word.
