West ham or spurs

There is a rule against it.
You're allowed to field any of your 25 man squad and it not be considered "weakened". However, there is also:

The "Utmost Good Faith" Rule (Rule B.13)
  • The Obligation: All member clubs must behave toward each other and the League with the utmost good faith.
  • The Application: This overarching rule means teams must compete honestly. Intentionally "throwing" a game to hurt a rival's title chances, help a friendly club avoid relegation, or secure a better draft/positional metric is a direct breach of this contractual commitment.

So can we expect West Ham to make an appeal against Villa? I doubt it.
They should do. The cheating maggots.

Aston Villa should hang their heads in shame they've totally disrespected the integrity of the game, but no one will care about that these days I don't suppose. There are several clubs that I have a completely dislike for at least I can add Villa to that list now
Spot on . Can't believe it's being brushed aside like it's fuck all . Far worse than some **** watching a shuttle run from 300 yards through a Kaleidoscope.

When people say, "[So and so] won't care, they're on the beach", does anyone say, but what about the integrity of the League? No they don't. Tottenham Hotspur were fortunate to get an Aston Villa team with something else on their minds, potentially with extra time and penalties.
As far as I can see it, some of the people most wound up on here about Aston Villa are exactly those I would expect to be even more wound up and outraged with Pereira were Forest to have exhausted themselves in a meaningless fixture.

I'll never accept a complete lack of effort , ever . I can accept being beaten by better sides , i can accept just being shit in general but i would never accept Forest rolling over and having their tummy tickled in any game to save themselves for another fixture no matter what the importance of it .
Fuck Villa .:finger:

Here here

Never about the team selection, we made more changes

It was about the total absence of any interest in playing a PL game of football, and the suspicion that the orders were to take it easy and let the game go with an eye on the semi final.

Even if we had been 10 points clear of danger when we played Chelsea, I would not have believed that was ok
