Went to the double header tonight in Wellington.
Sydney (3) V West Ham (1)
West Ham were simply terrible, in fact it was embarrassing. Relegation material this season, you heard it here first. The poor West Ham supporters who had come to the other side of the globe to see this crappy side would be guttered to see such trash.
Wellington Phoenix (0) Newcastle (1)
Newcastle looked good against the Phoenix who I thought played above themselves. The Phoenix should have got at least 1 goal but inept finishing saved Newcastle blushes from a draw after dominating the match. Newcastle's main threat came down the left flank and Coloccini looked class. Did not see anything that would worry me for City's opening game of the season against them.
