West Bromwich Albion v Manchester City, Post Match Thread.

Buzz Lightyear

Alert Team
City deserved this win and had it not been for the missed opportunities to score The Baggies may have come out of this game with at least a point.

The error by Nico Otamendi in added time, just gave the heart a little flutter, but I need not have worried as City maintain their lead over Stretford as City head for Naples

Pep ' The play was good in a lot of things, we deserved to win and could have scored more goals.'
' We played in a humble was and it is 3 more points in this good start to the season'

The Evening News gives the motm to Fernandinho, saying that his pass to Leroy Sané for the opening goal was the moment of the match, then he adds one for himself.

City's goals today. Apologies if they're elsewhere.

This simply wont do, another three different scorers, how on earth are the oppostion supposed to do, City are cheating and should stick to one scorer, like Harry Kane's team.

That phrase Harry Kane's team appears to have stuck - Oh Dear

^ Cheers, Buzz, that was going to be the next thing to do on the list.

It actually starts at 8.30pm according to the guide I've just seen?

Thanks I just guessed at 8pm, better to be early than late for this match anyway.

Bugger. Missed that. Have to make do with MotD.

The Sterling goal was wonderful. Imagine if that had been a young English forward scoring that prolifically.......oh, hang on.

The first WBA was offside, their second was careless by Nico

Sterling's goal was indeed a thing of beauty.

I had the great pleasure of watching the MotD highlights in front of my Rag supporting younger brother who remained very, very quiet during the purring of the commentators and then the praise in the studio afterwards. :066:
