Next up before the International break, our third match in 6 days, is a visit to the Hawthorns and West Bromwich Albion.

At an altitude of 551 feet (168 m), it is the highest ground above sea level of all Premier League and Football League clubs. It’s one of the shorter away trips at 135 miles each way.

Sitting at 4th in the table and undefeated they will be tough opposition but hope springs eternal as we look to bounce back from a dreadful performance against Wycombe mid-week.

Their head-coach is Carlos Corberan, ex-Huddersfield and Olympiacos boss, and also first team coach under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds when they gained promotion to the PL in 2020.

One player to watch will be their new 24 year old striker, signed as a free agent, Josh Maja, already the Championship’s top scorer on 4 goals from 3 games.

It could have been a lot more, completely outclassed, no shape, no penetration, no idea, can’t keep hold of the ball, this is easy for West Brom.
