It always makes me bang my head on the table when people talk of net zero as if it's a bad thing. Economically the UK has so much to gain from net zero. Geographically we have the perfect location to become a green power leader, whether from wind, solar, hydro or tidal. Green power is cheaper to produce, cheaper to maintain and quicker to implement. Onshore wind costs between a quarter and a half of the cost of producing the equivalent through gas and nuclear and even at peak prices is approximately equivalent with base coal produced energy costs. (US prices, Search for Lazards reports to explore if you are interested).Just seen the Chorley and Lancs news. Before anyone asks I didn’t vote.
Let’s not beat around the bush, Reform are picking up votes nationwide for one, possibly two reasons. If this was national there’d also be a third. Firstly is illegal - I reiterate the word illegal immigration. Conservatives didn’t sort it and it’s now worse under Labour who despite sound bites cannot and won’t resolve it. Reform promise they can - and to be fair probably would and people are buying into that. We could go into it further but no doubt sensible debate will not be possible but we all know it’s the main driver.
Add in the sheer incompetence we are witnessing from Labour with bellends such as Milliband and Reeves plural costing folks money and the electorate is sending a message. Stripping winter fuel payments, freebies galore, ignorance of rape gangs, two tier justice, net zero bollocks and folk have had enough. And that’s before we get to Starmer.
Could Farage be the next PM? Very possibly. Why? Because Labour and to a lesser extent the Conservatives will bury their collective heads in the sand and double down - and people aren’t buying these false promises anymore.
For someone who normally seems to take quite a sceptical approach to things (certainly on the football side), you seem willing to believe some pretty spurious claims from what are likely dubious sources ... even though you then admit you're not sure if they're true!Simple fact people are fed up. One main factor. Reeves taking the little OAP Fuel allowance away. Second watching the Bloody free hand. Outs. Walking around towns. Ukrainians. With loads of cash. Not sure if it’s true. Some going back home to visit relatives and coming back. Is it any wonder people are voting Reform. U.K. people now wondering if they will get some benefits stopped.

It seems that at the moment, the Reform public school lot, and the Tory public school lot are (probably understandably) ganging up on the Labour grammar school lot to have a pop, and all us comprehensive school lot are being played by their tall tales.
We might not have all gone to Hindley grammar School But one thing I’m not is f………g blind. Thanks for decoding
But surely, they're not waving round wads of cash like Harry Enfield's "Loadsamoney".We might not have all gone to Hindley grammar School But one thing I’m not is f………g blind.
if you say so like I said Not 100% sure of the holidays But definitely seen the wads of cash in lady’s purses. In townBut surely, they're not waving round wads of cash like Harry Enfield's "Loadsamoney".
I won't ask what you're doing peeking in the purses of strange (to you) ladies ... and neither of us know how they've acquired those wads ... but simple logic says a story that anyone claiming asylum from a country, and then going back there for a holiday is likely to be just that ... a story.if you say so like I said Not 100% sure of the holidays But definitely seen the wads of cash in lady’s purses. That is all the money laundering at the nail bars & tanning shops.if you say so like I said Not 100% sure of the holidays But definitely seen the wads of cash in lady’s purses. In town
This is confusingI won't ask what you're doing peeking in the purses of strange (to you) ladies ... and neither of us know how they've acquired those wads ... but simple logic says a story that anyone claiming asylum from a country, and then going back there for a holiday is likely to be just that ... a story.
Stating the obvious seemed a little pointless ... allowing free movement to people who are here legally ... wow, what is this country coming to ?!This is confusing
Ukrainians are not here seeking asylum,
they are here legally. Consequently they can come and go at will.
I understood that they have all had to resign cause they are wrong unsWell, I'm shocked I tell you. Who on earth could have seen that this might happen?
