Overall , the French have put on a decent Games .
Shame about the water quality in the Seine , that was a bit small minded .
The Olympic Flame , Maps of Paris instead of a bunch of flowers , The Olympic Bell, has all been worthy ideas .
Security seems to have been good , just hope I’m not being a bit hasty , crowds have been excellent , other venues were great .
I think we as a nation can be very pleased at how we have performed .
The Olympic Games itself needs a complete shake up though if it is going to allow physical mismatches and gender equality issues to be ignored .
Maybe there should be a Transgender Games .
It takes the Faster Higher Stronger to be new levels .
The Euros , Wimbledon , Test Cricket , Olympics , pre season tour …..I’ve hardly missed the PL
I think our recruitment team have been in the same mould , someone finally realising they had better turn the tv off when they got to work in the morning and get on with what they get paid for , for a while , twice a year .

from me.It’s over! Two weeks of intense competition for the globes finest athletes has come to an end and, for me, it will probably be the most memorable Olympics. Australia had its most successful Olympics ever with some outstanding, and unexpected, performances. I had little interest in BMX, Slalom, and Skateboarding before these games. But the young Aussie women who won gold in these events changed that. They were awesome, along with so many other Aussie athletes. One of the most impressive track results was a silver medal in the women’s 1500 metres. Australia rarely wins a medal on the track. So, after two awesome weeks, the Olympics end and the Pl starts!
