Welcome Pep

Wow.
Ballague said it wouldn't be announced until Bayern v City could not be possible in the CL down the line...

I've been trying to get on the OS to copy the link to the statement but it seems it has crashed lol.

Happy transfer deadline day Blues.

This really is going to backfire if as most people say his success came from the quality of the teams he had under him not his skill as a manager, is he a better manager than Pellers?

Pep still has contacts at Barcelona. I wonder if we'll see some new summer signings (I dare not say some obvious names for obvious reasons). Things are going from good to great

Well, that's an end to any uncertainty, so now lets get on.

There are players who will be playing for their future, but most of all I hope they give their all for the absolute gentleman who is still the manager of our club, and deserves a triumphant send off by players, management, and fans alike.

Sr Pelligrini , you have been an absolute credit to our club, good luck wherever your future takes you ( Except Chelsea or Stretford)

Welcome indeed. I can see the logic in unveiling the 'elephant in the room' before the pressure started to build as the season progresses and the media circus camped out in City Square constantly asking the same old question....

Credit to Pellegrini for the way that he has managing the whole situation :hat off: He will remain one of my favourite City managers.

One of my most immediate thoughts........I was wondering how young Kelachi Iheanacho feels about this? The guy who has placed huge trust in his abilities is going to leave the club. We all know how sometimes players just don't 'fit' with different coaches/managers so I hope Pellegrini's judgement is trusted and this doesn't destabilise one of the best talents that the club has uncovered in recent years.

I'd imagine he'd be delighted. He's clearly desperate to learn, and I'd doubt he could have a better teacher for the next 3 years

Pellers, said that he did not like the speculation and told the Club that he would announce the decision.

Chippy Tea echoes my sentiments and always has been the head of a successful team, which of course City are, but now he will too know the difficulties that the more powerful Clubs put in our way.

That's just the Cityitis talking Buzz and Chippy.

Yes he has had phenomenal squads to work with but he's won 19 major trophies in 8 years, what's not to like?

I think we all know that no matter what Pellers does this season Tinkerman will be Manager of the Year, sad really, and I do hope that he winning 64 games in his first 99 as manager gets some sort of recognition at the Club.

Devil's advocate time.

With Stretford Red Sox in turmoil , will Bacon Face be able to resist coming back for a year as an "Interim" to "Stabilise" the club ?

Have a feeling The Special **** will be their manager come summer.
