Welcome Kyle Walker

The ability to stray two yards offside undetected.

The ability to push someone clean through on goal without the officials who are looking right at it noticing

Better than Aguero.

What's not to like?

Welcome Walker.

£50m! - ha, you could get two GJ33's for that sort of money! - must be one helluva player...

But nice doing business with you Mr Levy - that's the right back spot sorted now lets go get us a left back and we'll be all set to reclaim the league title which Chelsea are kindly looking after for us.

Actually this is pretty funny if you factor in Sod's Law - which in this case is that I predict Trippier will be eased into Spuds' defence and next season keep Walker out of the England side. The irony being that Trippier cost comparative peanuts, is two years younger than Walker and of course used to play for us...

But hey, don't blame me, I don't make the rules! Love football almost as much as I love irony...

Anyway, onwards and upwards, it's a good time to be a Blue...

only if he is not wearing a City shirt :001: :001: :001: :001: :001:

Oh Micah, where art thou...still at the Villa?

Didn't MR2 and Trippier both play in the same youth side at City?

Sorry if I'm appearing a bit obsessed with young Kieron it's just that once Alves signed for PSG it was only a matter of time before Daniel Levy reeled us in and did us up like the proverbial kipper.

Kieron Kipp(i)er.

I need to sleep...

Is he worth the money, hell no. Is he an upgrade on our two departed RB's. I would have to say yes. So welcome to City Mr. Walker and I hope you do really well for us. Waiting to see if we buy another proper RB in this window.

Welcome indeed Kyle. I hope he settles in quickly - as an experienced PL defender it should be a lot easier.

I also hope he realises that playing in Sky blue he will automatically become a lot more visible to the official's and he shouldn't expect to get away with the offsides and pushes next season :014:

Gary Lineker's tweets sums up why I think Twitter could well be the worst invention of the digital age. Take the piss; try and row it back but ultimately just offer a brain dump in the endless quest to see how many people like you or 're-tweet' your inane comments to raise your profile and keep the brand name you work for in the media spotlight. I cannot stand Twitter. :013:

Interesting take on the 're-writing of history' being undertaken at 'The Lane' after Walker transfer

.....especially as it is by a Spurs fan :005:

The mainstream media see it as they want to. A lot of difference in approach to Walker's move when compared to others recently, confirmed this morning in some areas of the Sundays.

We've got what we wanted and needed, and it seems Mendy is very imminent. The Frenchman is a tease :008:

Funny isn't it, according to the meeja Walker is not worth 60% of Lukaku. You couldn't make this shit up.
