Oh the joy of being logged in at the right moment!!!!!!

3. I believe that was Peter Jackson or at the very least he always looked like a used car dealer

8. Maheta Malongo is the CEO at Mallorca. I'm not quite sure how he's landed such a gig but I remember discussing it with my Brighton supporting mate. Brighton being the team we loaned Molango from.

6. I recall Pearce getting sent off without getting on the pitch in a match against Cheltenham when he had a scrap with Barry Richardson in the dug outs. ( Richardson with plenty of form for this kind of thing!!)
I think as well as being Sutton's assistant he was frequently a named sub so last City player to be sent off without playing ( probably could word that better but you get the gist)

9. Thinking about Richard Butcher he scored some absolute beauts for City especially one away at Mansfield. I honestly don;t remember if there was a goal of the month contest in league 2 then but it was certainly worthy so perhaps his was the last such award given to a City player

6. Score an own goal before an opposition player touched the ball (Port Vale when brought in to shore up a defence prone to conceding early, that worked a treat)

9. As an alternative answer for Butch......last player to play for the club in 3 separate spells........twice on a permanent basis and once on loan

7 - Bobby Robson? I read an article once detailing how Bill Anderson tried to sign him but had been beaten to it by Fulham.

10 - Millmoor. Did we win Div3N that season? If so we're the goals the difference that denied Rotherham the title

These are the two that I 'think' I know as well. Not sure who the Fulham manager was though.

Bill Dodgin Snr. managed Fulham in 1950 and signed both Johnny Haynes and Bobby Robson for them that year. He played for Lincoln 46 times between 1932 and 1934.

5. Bob Latchford scored a 9 minute hat-trick on his debut for Swansea in 1981. Only 1 year and 2 minutes out.

4. I was at this game; Leyton Orient Vs Lincoln City 22 February, 2005.

One of the floodlight pylons failed and I recall that the ref wanted to abandon proceedings but as both teams were happy to continue, he relented and the game went ahead. It finished 1-1 with Simon Yeo giving us an early lead only for Orient to gain a late equaliser.

2. I also think it was to do with the Grand National, won by Well to Do and backed by my older brother who couldn't stop crowing about his win! I can't remember if the big race had been delayed or not but can only assume it may have been.

I was also there. It was a strange atmosphere, with the game played in semi darkness.

The National was due to start at 3.15pm. I can see nothing in that day's Liverpool Echo report to suggest there was a problem causing a delay.

There were other evening kick offs that day, presumably to avoid clashing with the National.

5. I suspect this could relate to the Bournemouth game which we won 9-0. I am going to have a guess at Derek Bell who got a hatrick rather quickly from memory.

6. Was Pearce the last City player to have won the top division title?
