So, as it currently stands we're a point off the top of the table without having Silva, Kompany, Zabaleta, or Aguero playing any significant time for us as of late. Seeing as how the other top teams (Arsenal aside, and waiting on Leicester) fared this weekend, I still think we're in a great spot. Arsenal will start their mid-season nose dive soon, and we'll remain on top.
 
Some idiot on talk sport said he thought Chelsea would be in top 4 by the season end where do these people come from, i agree with you considering we lost our two best players at the same time we have done really well and can now push on from here, lets hope they can all stay injury free.
 
After losing to Leicester this evening, Chelsea are 20 points off top spot

Watched the game and was very happy to see Leicester win, even though they just keep winning and sit on top of the table. Watching Maureen after the match, he has decided some of his players have betrayed him, talk about losing the plot. Wonder who will be the new coach at Chelsea for next season.

I watched the game too, JK, and it's made me wonder if Abramovitch will pull the trigger sooner, with the window due to open shortly. Gollum is available.

.....time for an "Is this the most pathetic title defence ever" type article methinks. :thinking:

Schadenfreude. I have to say I am enjoying The Moaning One's discomfiture. He doesn't know who to blame next. Apart from himself of course. None of this spectacular disintegration is his responsibility.

Except that it is because his abrasive, fractious style of management has a very short shelf life and it seems that gets shorter the second time around. Nowhere to hide Jose. I have noticed a distinct decline in his "my little horse" type quips recently and he is struggling to handle adversity. He is desperate to get out before the season is a total write off (and he cannot be absolved of blame because he will have been at the helm ALL the time) and his reputation for being a serial winner is seriously compromised.

Now I haven't been reading/following much non-City related media recently, but I hope they team, players, club and manager are being ripped into by the hacks because if this were happening to City they would be all over it like a rash. Headlines like "Gazillion £ flops" and pundits banging on about "...after all the money they have spent".

Anyone able to confirm whether that has that been happening? :thinking:
