We are going to be relegated

The above is based on survival. If we go down we wont be spending anywhere near that in the EFL.

My point is, even with survival I cannot see any of those 4 staying, possibly Neco, but also with Ndoye, the Brazilians and Bakwa its imperative the guy after this next guy is the right manager.

I have zero clue what where we will finish. Club is an abject mess right now

Bakwa ? Keep seeing his name mentioned.

Who gives a fook about him?

Hes not upto EPL physicality?

I think 'not being up to EPL physicality' is a much worse problem for a winger under Dyche than it could be under other managers.

I'm interested to see what happens with these players who have been bench/squad players all season when a new manager comes in.

There might be a hidden gem in there somewhere who we've just been sitting on because they haven't appealed to our selection of managers.

No miracle was actually needed under Dyche. We were on track.

A new manager would just need to match the points return Dyche was giving us.

Dont hold your breath though. Dyche was so qualified for what we needed and knew our players inside out. The good and the bad

In fact they could get less average points than Dyche and still be ok

Deliver just 1.2 points per game (our average under Dyche and we finish on 42 points)

Current form is better than that 1.5 pts per game

People have just lost their heads in all the noise. Cant take the ups and downs of competitive EPL football

A steady head was all that was needed

Weve gone knee jerk. Mainly because of the West Ham upturn in results themselves. But their current form is only one point better than us

Right now the fans of

West Ham
Leeds
Spurs
Brighton

Will all be absolutely delighted with the sacking
Maybe no miracle under Dyche no. He might have kept us up but a new manager starting from scratch will need to do something pretty special to save us.

Im not saying its the right decision to get rid of Dyche im just saying im not surprised and I felt it really was sooner rather than later from the moment he was appointed.

I thought from the start he would keep us up but that alone wouldt keep him the job

Got to have some physicality AND talent for EPL

Cant carry luxury players

Ozil
Maddison
Robben
Hazard

(not an exhaustive list, just off the very top of my head)

Where's the physicality there?

Robben and Hazard were both stocky as fook and tough as nails ?

Always involved in games

Maddison a centre mid playmaker

Ozil Ive never watched him closely to comment about him tbh

Bakwa a lightweight winger. Unnoticeable in games ive seen going forward. Zero defensively.

Its brutal its true. Dyche couldnt waste a spot in the team for him waiting for an impact compared to others upto EPL speed

Not dyches fault.

He got workrate from the others as a minimum and starting point. Including Hutch now. Its needed in EPL

To paraphrase your point. Someone who can actually coach talent. Luiz shit, Kalimuendo, shit.

Since Luiz went to Villa, he's played three times and has received high 7 ratings, and played the majority of minutes in those games.
Kalimuendo has got player of the month for Eintracht Frankfurt.

McAtee played well in Europa, hasn't kicked a ball since. Is he crap?

But it's the players not playing for Dyche. Absolute, demonstrable bollocks

Bakwa when i read up on him when we signed him. His clubs fans said hes capable of going weeks showing nothing then just when you lose patience - out of the blue he has a great game.

That kind of player at least has to defend shit hot and contribute whilst you wait for the special game. In EPL at least.

We are nowhere near good enough to carry that luxury.

Nowadays which EPL teams can?

Peter Ive got to pick you up on this above

Our current form is 9 points from last 6 EPL games?

Its 9th in the EPL current form table?

Our last European game matched our biggest win in European History

(Nominated for manager of the month as a result of current form)

If the next manager can get us 9 points from 6 games we would be fookin ecstatic??

It would have us pretty close to safety with 6 games spare.

I severely doubt the next manager will deliver that points return. Any of our relegation rivals would be over the moon with 9 points from the next 6 games.

What have we fookin just gone and done?

Crackers, knee jerk mental reaction to a bitterly frustrating result where we dominated from start to finish.

You saying "we are only going one way with Dyche" on that current form is just a symptom of the ridiculous instant gratification world we all live in now

Zero or one point from the last 6 games is the kind of form that used to get a manager sacked. Tbf they probably used to need 9 games of that form

Weve just taken 9 fookin points from the last 6 games and won 4 nil at home in Europe

Let that fookin sink in!

So what exactly do you mean "it was only going one way under Dyche"

We were on track?

How many points did you want him to deliver to accept him ?
With PBT you are only allowed to count the last 3 games for a form guide because it suits his narrative......

And weve been unlucky in 2 of the 3
Luck, or lack of, doesn't count for anything. People argue results were unlucky under Ange Vs Burnley, Sunderland, Swansea etc. We still got knocked out the cup and only 1 point from his 5 prem games.

Just like we still only got 2 points from 9 against relegation rivals, whilst giving 7 points the other way. Nobody adjusts those points based on "luck" at the end of the season.
