We are going to be relegated

The best we can hope for is a new manager bounce and a bit more drive from the players.

Ultimately, whilst technically the form table was okay, we’ve been heading in one direction for weeks now. You can’t get 2 points from Palace, Leeds and Wolves in the most crucial spell of the season and be surprised to lose your job.

We’re a championship team next season. I’m certain of that, but I didn’t believe at all that we wouldn’t be from watching this team over the last few months anyway and therefore we had to role the dice.

The whole thing is totally sad. You can see it all now - Dyche on a podcast saying his form was mid table and his sacking relegated us.

The only thing I’m clinging to is that Perreira’s record isn’t as bad as I thought. God I can’t believe this is actually happening. It’s unbelievable. This would be so easily the best premier league side to ever go down

We are a laughing stock. Deservedly so. The booing last night was likely a contributory factor in Dyche's demise.
Marinakis doesn't pay compensation and no-one with any nous will join a club in freefall.
Whoever it is will be our 4th manager in 1 season. Shocking state of affairs.
The only constant? The players. We have a mix of underperforming players and those who simply aren't good enough.
I'm afraid Marinakis needs to look in a mirror as to the cause of the problems we face.
Edu over Nuno. Ange. I feel sorry for Dyche but it's clear that players didn't want him.
What a shambles.
Someone highlighted the number of unsold tickets for games and the number of STs up for match day transfer.

That would have been the final straw.

Money talks

Vítor Pereira Is a much better manager than Dyche, go look at his record. As for wolves ? Imagine selling your best players in the summer and expecting a different outcome?

We’re struggling without wood and Elanga !!

Imagine us selling Murillo, Anderson , and MGW last summer and replacing them with mcatee, Hutchinson and Morato ?

if Pereira gets the job , working with our squad ? I think he will do alright and surprise a lot of people.

He does, he's compensated three sacked managers this season!

Now, join some dots and go get Silva. Pay the compo which will be a drop in the ocean compared to dropping out the Prem
Silva didnt want to come; what makes you think he will have changed his mind?

You can only pay compensation when a manager in another job wants to come here, and the hard facts are, there are no mangers in work who want to come here.

Why would they?

People do not want to join the dots, they are in denial; we have a group of players devoid of leadership who are shirking their responsibilities, but its far easier to blame a succession of managers than point the finger at those responsible.

“Wolves were 19th and five points from safety upon his appointment, are got to a position where they were 14 points clear of the bottom three five months later.”

"This would be so easily the best premier league side to ever go down"

And the most shallow and spineless.

People can blame the managers all they like, but there has only been the one constant.

And I am afraid the new manager bounce is a bit like Santa Claus, in that their existence is questionable.

Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri Both sold too. For a club like wolves that tears the heart out a team.

It is understood Forest have held talks with Pereira, who is out of work after being dismissed by Wolves in November. The Portuguese spent 11 months at Molineux, helping keep them in the Premier League last season, and that experience counted in his favour during the brief search for Dyche’s successor.

Forest are eager to find someone with great man-management skills, more akin to those of Nuno Espírito Santo, who was very popular with the players, something not replicated with his two successors.

If appointed, Pereira will have a week to plan for Forest’s Europa League clash with Fenerbahce next Thursday because they do not have a fixture this weekend, after being knocked out of the FA Cup. They sit 17th in the Premier League, three points clear of the relegation zone.

We are not attractive to most managers

But for some out of work it could be a free hit

I don’t believe de zerbi etc would come but on the face of it, they could get good money for a short term job while they secure a better job in the summer

They won’t be expect to work miracles but if they did it all looks good on them

I know I am being unrealistic but we need someone in today or tomorrow to give them time ahead of Euro tie and Liverpool which we will probably win

Not a long term solution for me but he kept a much worse side than us up last season and he speaks Portuguese. Not a chance in the world he can be as tactically inept as Dyche either. Had a shocker this year, but fuck me, I don’t think bc would have a chance with that wolves side.

Bollocks

He won ten games against mostly terrible teams, because all their hardest games were before he joined

And he had Cunha, Strand Larsen and Ait Nori

Here he has fucking Lucca

I very not checked but yes those stats do seem to be familiar. Wolves then went on to make it clear that they had no ambition to make the club much better. You can't level that accusation against EM can you? New manager bounce required? He might just what the doctor ordered.

Didn't think you rated Strand Larsen?

Here he has MGW, Anderson, Murillo etc. We have some good players, certainly players as good as Wolves had.

I'm not thrilled by Pereira and don't think he's the answer. But let's compare apples with apples instead of pretending we're light years behind the Wolves team he kept up last season.

Daily Mail Sport understands there were certain players in the squad Dyche simply did not rate, among them winger Dilane Bakwa and centre back Jair Cunha, who cost more than £40million between them. While these are early days, Netz is not thought to have blown his manager’s socks off either.
Wolfie called this weeks ago

What about the Clough team that got relegated the season after reaching the FA Cup final?

who is the answer guys. we can talk about the problems but who is the solution.

they will have no presason and none of their own players.
