Neil DeGrasse Tyson said it would be a much more impressive feat to fake it than to have actually gone there...
His two main arguments are :
1: It is more difficult to fake than to actually go there...
2: The information would have been leaked by now and the amount of personal that would need to stay quiet is in the thousands...
Those two reasons alone rule out the hoax...

LOL. 3 people have said it's a hoax. I wonder if any of them would like to come back and discuss their reasoning, and perhaps provide the evidence to support their views?

I believe that there is a direct correlation between people who smoke weed and/or suffer from paranoia and those who believe in these sorts of consipracy theories. I know a few people who are certain 9/11 was done by the Americans because they've seen videos on Youtube. It is one of the most infuriating thing talking to these people whose only retort is "Yeah but you watch BBC and read newspapers they are telling you lies".

I agree, i mean couseit was a hoax man, we live in a holographic universe where aliens have us in little tube baths in liquid water and grow us for food and we am just living in there computer simulated world they created for us, ffs eveybody with half a brain knows this man

I certainly don't believe everything I'm fed from the media either and there are cover ups, vested interests, big money corps who dictate things as well.
However, on this one, I find the evidence of it being fake not compelling enough and the facts very compelling.
But mostly I really don't believe they could have faked such a thing, in front of the eyes of the world, and not get found out at some point. The risk would have been far too great for America to hoax something that big.

Happy for this to happen - it might make an interesting topic. I only made one about the moon landing due to the recent program on TV.
Maybe a mod could change the title to

As for the twin towers, I dont for one minute think that it was a set up - it would have been way too risky to pull off and execute.
The moon landing though, it does have some valid points that side with a hoax - the shadows, flag, lack of dust on the ship, the photo images, the lighting etc. - I dont think it would be all that hard to set up in a secret large film studio. It was also time where the USSR and USA were in a space race and trying to get one over each other. Some conspiracy theorists say that Stanley Kubrick was the director (I think his wife even mentioned something about it).

If you do the research, all of those points you've raised actually help to strengthen the case for the Moon landings being real. I've seen the program you're talking about, and to take it at face value, without exploring further, would be a huge mistake.

They make compelling arguments green tea, I agree, but for every argument I saw a valid answer a few years ago when there was a tv documentary on it.
Sadly my memory doesn't work as it used to, but I do remember starting to believe some of the conspiracy theories until I saw that show!

The thing is Heath - both sides can be explored and have valid points.
The flag could have had wire across the top of it like they say. And like they say the movement is just from whilst it is being placed in the ground and natural movement, not wind.
But what about the 2 photo images with the exact same background = one photo with the spacecraft, another then without the spacecraft yet both containing the exact same background.
And how do we account for the astronaut coming out of the spacecraft with the sun behind the craft, yet he is visibly seen in light? He would be in complete darkness as we only have one sun and it was behind the craft..The guy taking the photo didnt have a grand lighting system(stage quality) to light up th whole darkside of the ship.
And like Holtelower mentioned all we had as kids was the Spectrum and commodore 64 and that was in 80's over 10 years later after we had sent man to the moon. Was was technology so crap in the 80's yet we were sending guys to the moon in 1969?
