Wales squad

Sheffield United’s right-back Kieron Freeman has been called into the Wales squad for the upcoming international break, and replaces injured Brentford centre back Chris Mepham.
What’s this got to do with Swansea City? Well Giggs has ignored a “like for like” replacement in centre-back Joe Rodon and called up a right back instead.
Rodon was picked for the last squad in October but didn’t play against Spain or Republic of Ireland.
This time he was initially ignored by Giggs picking unheard of Anderlecht centre-back James Lawrence in his place, and now he’s ignored him for the second time in the space of a few days by picking Freeman.

Giggs - “They let themselves down. The performance was not good enough and we got what we deserved. We controlled the game in the first half, but we thought it was going to be too easy. We were too complacent. Concentration wasn't there."
