interesting that once bowler scored he was hauled off for O'Brien...both given an opportunity to impress the lower leagues.

Really, really pleased to hear that Sangare had a good game.

Hopefully he is the kind of player that will thrive with familiarity of being here a year and having a proper pre season. I really do think he has quality.

This is a squad game in the premier league. Everyone in the 25 will have to play their part. Includinf Sangare and very much including Yates

Today was different.

We looked much better in this game than in recent pre-seasons. Right from the start we were playing with bite. In the second half we moved the ball quickly and they couldn't live with us (as should be the case). Sangare excellent passing, MGW imperious, CHO and Danilo both excellent, great finish from Wood. Very encouraging I thought.

Just watched those highlights on YouTube. We should have been 3 up after 10 mins and six up by half time. We had the most ridiculous disallowed goal in many a year after a supposed foul on their keeper. 3 good goals in the second half and really we could have been close to double figures. We were profligate but their keeper had a great game as well. Never saw our keeper!,
