Vs Blackburn

What about that result, hey, Toms?

Second day in the job for our new saviour and we are beating Blackburn 3-0

Its marvellous how the clubs fortunes have changed since Labour came to power.
I’d be shocked if Glasner were anything other than a righty ?

But loving the progress

REally enjoyed that again today & really encouraged by what OG is constantly urging the players to do. Wants them higher up the pitch. playing at a decent tempo with plenty of one / two touch passes. None of this messing about passing back & forth while the opposition get their defence set.

Several like Moreira, Taiwo, Kali, Netz making good case for themselves.

Dangerous to read too much into friendlies, but they were a good bit in front of us fitness wise & we just brushed them aside so difficult to be any other than pleased with progress so far

That's cos he's the OG

Not keen on calling Glasner OG as it has an unfortunate meaning.

I may call him Olive Glasnost from now on as that frees him from all expectations, positive or negative.

Saw the County game live on Forest TV, only seen the highlights of Blackburn, but I'm impressed with pre-season so far.

Glasnost was openness. Don't want any of that! Or olive branches!

Given our experience and palarse- conference makes more sense. Its something we can win and would then give us consecutive seasons in europe.

Yes its mickey mouse but helps with the overall slow build.
No money in winning Conf League. Yes it gives entry to Europa but that only provides extra money if won. Both have downside of extra games. EM will accept either but the big money is CL. It also helps with transfers and sponsorship. The aim is CL which means top 5.

Given the prize money difference and gap in coefficient ranking points, the Europa League will be the minimum target.

Palace won the Conference and we reached the semis of the EL - you would think Palace would rank higher, yet we sit in 81st position and they are in 87th

If there is foundation in the players we are supposed to be after, ie, those in the 40/50/60m bracket, you would conclude that EM is not content with a slow build

No doubting the aim and yes the conference is worth fook all, still think it's useful tho. We need to get used to playing extra games if we have the ambition, keeps the profile up and generates momentum rather than flash in the pan.

I dont think he is at all content with slow anything apart from roasted pork. Doesnt make it a bad option tho.

14th or up and building.

Personally I could handle that despite wanting better

But not sure he keeps his job if we are hovering that low

And the overall fan mood would be toxic. I just know how it is now. Telling us everything hes getting wrong pre and post match

50% plus of fans would make it a horrible season with the over reactions to the poor results we get that together pull the mood down of the whole club

I think to keep fans happy he needs 10th at worse. Even then we will get a decent percentage of fans saying hes not good enough

It is what it is

Professionals in the game ignore the, so-called, "toxic" fan: you should too.

It appears that you trawl every possible internet avenue to find comments that you disagree with...maybe don't do that, cos you're unable to change anything and, in truth, it doesnt affect the club.

Didn't you have a tantrum and announce to the entire forum (world?) that you were leaving as you disagreed with opinions that were critical of the club, players, playng style etc?

Ignore the toxicity and concentrate on being a top-quality NFFC fan!
