Battle on for the 2 x cdm slots

Wingbacks might be tough to break in to as well with Aina and Williams in the driving seat
 
Currently we dont have Bergval.

Dominguez was third choice last season, Mactee was shit and Yates is Yates.

I dint fancy the winners of this battle much.
 
I’ll be hacked off if we miss out on Read - he appears to be a very very good young player that is attainable for a fair fee. We seem to be increasing our relatively low offer of €19m by €1m at a time and are now at €21m… they want €25m - just pay it before a bigger club comes in and steals him.

If we change the way how we play and Anderson type of player might be less effective thus less visible. If we are going to play a more offensive type of football we need midfielders that score goals not that pass the ball around. If we play three at the back I see half that work to be done by one of the central defenders and the other half by a more attacking minded midfielder.
Guys, remember we are going to change the way we play and the replacing like with like from past formations might not be the solution and not even the target.
