To take really amazing photos with the Nikon D60 stick it in auto mode :85:

I have an EOS350D, purchased when they were still frightfully expensive.

I really wish I could get the hang of decent cameras. A couple of years ago, I bought Mrs BBJ what I thought was quite a decent digital number. Neither of us can get the hang of it. Pending an epiphany, whenever we go anywhere that we want to take pictures, we buy a once-off and use it! (And they're not TOO bad....)
I'm reluctant to say it's an age thing for I can now use a mobile phone - even texting! - and am also comfortable on the net.

That is a seriously nice bit of kit there TuBBz, must admit I'd like to get back into photography, wouldn't say no to one of those camera's for sure!

When I was in Berlin (before the wall came down). Allied forces were allowed to go into east Berlin, my mates missus was really into photography and she bought thousands of pounds worth of Praktica camera equipment for a song, prices being so cheap over there.

I bought her old Olympus SLR, tripod and zoom lens off her, a cracking camera and I did fancy myself as a bit of a David Bailey for a while, but lost interest in it in the end.

Now all you have to do is put an ad in the local rag to get girls to get there kit off. Housewives are always up for it :35:

Nice Cameraa Tubbz. I used to make a living with mine. I have a couple of Olympus that I used to shoot event photography with. Also have a couple of really nice hot light kits that pack up easily in my car with Pocket Wizards to fire them.

Haven't done as much the last few years but thats mainlyh because both of my cameras developed electrical issues and it now would cost more to fix then to replace them. Always nice having a $1400 paperweight.

Besides the event photography I also did some shooting for the local paper when they needed some extra help and a few magazines that were local. Had lots of fun but the pay at times wasn't worth it.

Here are a few of the covers I shot.

Gotta say I'm loving it & have seriously thought about making some kind of carear out of it

Like you say Matty there is always girls willing to get there kit off for the camera & who am i to stop them

Wow dude how cool was that seeing your photo on Magazines?

Thats what I'm going to be aiming for

I like taking photographs from time to time, though I'm nowhere near the standard of being able to do anything money-wise with the snaps!

Some of my favourites, though:
