Thanks Mike. It was a great place, a good starter for South America. Friendly and helpful locals. Had a bout of flu during the trip and felt pretty shit for a good 7 days and then passed it onto Mrs. CV. So that tainted the trip a bit. An interesting history with a very violent past. They've cleaned up a lot and are open to tourism - although you still need your wits about you.
Will return at some point and head south to explore the rest of the continent.
