Finally had the results from my pet scan that they expect 50/60% to give more cancer… turns out there isn’t which was a little win…take what I can!

Seeing heart surgeon tomorrow to discuss valve transplant which is the 1st of 3 miracles we need to have any reasonable future. If heart valve thing goes well then chances go up and then it will be bowel tumour removal surgery then just stuck with liver that will require transplant thanks to gp screwing me over.

Guy at work who was diagnosed with brain tumour same time as me died Saturday….horrendous for his family and work, we are a family run operation and everyone is very close. I’m still trying to keep military stuff upper lip most days, occasionally have moments where I want to throat punch rude people.

Hope pope is ok

You’re really going the mill SR but pleased to hear you’ve had a bit of positive news. Like Fletch in porridge said little victories mate little victories

Fucking hell the nhs is a shambles… people waiting since 1.30 to see a certain specialist and they’ve just decided to tell them yeah he’s not in as he’s on holiday!

Thankfully not my guy

It's a good feeling when it's not you.

Visited my sister near Hexham for the weekend. Train back York to Reading (since when did trains go to Reading?) was annoyingly delayed enough to miss my connection at Derby. I would feel slightly soiled going via Derby but it couldn't be helped.

Ten minutes out of Derby they told everyone they'd have to get off there as there was a technical problem with the train. There was another train waiting on the same platform and all seat reservations had been transferred to it...but I could sense a degree of annoyance from everyone else.

Didn't bother me as I was getting off there anyway.
