1. Metallica - Master of Puppets - Timeless, absolute masterpiece
2. Pearl Jam - No Code - Experimental album with change of sound but amazing
3. Soundgarden - Superunknown - One of the first albums I bought, still listen to it
4. Slipknot - Slipknot - As far as debit albums go, probably the best
5. RHCP - Californication - Just amazing
6. Lamb of God - Ashes of the wake - So damn heavy
7. Alice in Chains - Unplugged - For chilling out
8. Incubus - Greatest Hits - Because I can't take all of their albums I picked the one with the most on it

Singles or albums? Think you mean single bits of music? Which will be very difficult! lol
 
So difficult this and I'd really need much longer to think re music but off the top of my noggin

1) Mr Crowley - Ozzy... when I first heard this (I can remember when and where!) the hair at the back of my head stood up (shut up you bastards!) just awesome!

2) Paranoid - Sabbath... one of the first and still best proper heavy metal songs

3) Motorhead - Ace Of Spades - same reason, got No Sleep Til Hammersmith at the age of 12 and played it to death...

4) Rolling Stones - Sypmpathy for the Devil epic

5) Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out (Thought I'd go for one of their less obvious songs)

6) Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (or to cheat, Comfortably Numb)

7) The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps - such beauty

8) Foo Fighters - White Limo - scare away the natives!

9) The Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun

10) Led Zepp - Kashmir

Book... Lord Of The Rings compendium, nice and long!

Luxury item... my samsung tablet if that is allowed, I assume this island has wi fi? If not, a gun!!!!!!!!!
