Vincent Kompany

Johnny Baguette

Alert Team
....Has a face like thunder more often than not of late and has all but packed in his regular team motivational tweets.

Were I Khaldoon Al Mubarak I would be seeking the captain out to find out what the hell is going on.

A shadow of his former self, having said that I thought yesterday was his best performance in a long time, although that's not saying a whole lot.

Usually find it has something to do with his home life which spills over into the workplace.

JB hit the nail on the head really. Face like thunder.

He was always a bit of a hard man who captained the team with a little bit of menace. He seems to have lost control now though and has taken it a step too far. Started to believe his own hype maybe. The big 'I am' but who can't match it with delivery on the pitch anymore so he's compensating with more menace.

He has been out of sorts for a while and although his personal performance yesterday was better than of late there is clearly something not right behind the scenes. All too reminiscent of the pre-Wigan FA Cup final in how it feels - disjointed and indicative of players not pulling in the same direction.

I keep replaying Dzeko's utter lack of bother to block the shot from Boyd AND how little he seems to give a sh*t when the goal ius scored. Not even half hearted attempt to stop the shot and just wanders off afterwards. THAT gave me a face like thunder.

I agree Skoorb, Dzeko looked disinterested. But he was certainly motivated the last few matches, and then he switched off. There are some deep seated problems behind the scenes.

I fear the team (or some of them) are doing a Mancini on Pellers, i hope i am wrong but recent performances against teams that on paper we should have beaten easily have been awful

Skipper Vincent Kompany has said that he doesn't believe Manchester City could have a better away trip than travelling to Old Trafford to face Manchester United......

Ok, so based upon that logic say we'd just won 10 on the bounce to overtake them in the league and the rags had lost their last three then that would be a bad time to play them?

Quite so Kenny.

This sort of 'rallying war cry' would be more believable if he had won more/any of his battles against the journeyman centre forward last night :doh!:

Doesn't wash Vinnie

I'm **cking dreading it to the point where I'm not sure if I'm going to bother watching.

I hope you will at least get to the team sheets lol

looks like I picked the right time to go away for a few days :hat off: :bye:

I can't face this one. I'm such a wimp.
Going to take the dog out for a two-hour walk just before kick-off.

I can't see where he's coming from other than it's just a rallying call to the beleaguered troops staring defeat in the face.

I'd have thought away to Burnley or home to Arse or away to Palace would have been better games to rediscover our mojos but apparently not.

I can see us getting a reet gud 'iding 'ere lads n' lasses.

The current problem is largely one of motivation and I can see that pit of writhing vipers supplying that in ample quantities. Dare I say it, I actually have a good feeling about this game and will definitely not miss it, come on blues if the team can play in it, we can watch it!!

Don't mind me PTTP I was just feeling sorry for myself when I posted that I wouldn't be watching, come Sunday afternoon I'll be itching for kick off, probably emptying my bowels multiple times while I wait.
