“I was gutted with the FA Cup loss. It’s a huge competition for me.

“I’ll never forget getting to the final in 2015 and I won’t ever forget the semi-final. I was playing at Wembley in the claret and blue shirt – it was just a dream come true.

“Fans say that semi-final was the best moment of following Villa, well trust me, it was the best moment for me of playing for Villa.

“I love the FA Cup. It’s an amazing trophy, an amazing competition, I can’t speak highly enough of it.

“We wanted to go through. But it wasn’t meant to be. Peterborough were the better team on the day. Now we need to move on.”

JG says that fans say that the SF was the best moment of following, well just shows what young circles he moves in. Good to hear he personally values the FAC. Sadly his manager seems to be on another planet. If anyone really thinks that a 1-0 win at Forest will make us all forget the crap served up against Posh - well ... dream on.
