Forget what you've heard - the reputation of all Manchester City fans as plastic is nonsense. In their first ever Champions League semi-final, Blues showed the world just how wrong the football world can be.

Before we get to the video clip shall we consider what actually constitutes being a ‘plastic fan’?

Success is always likely to lead to some people latching on to clubs and we are bound to get our share. But I have witnessed enough from fans attracted to our club since the takeover that suggests that they really do get Manchester City.

I've only followed City since we acquired the wherewithal to buy trophies and titles. Before that I followed Chelsea and before that Arsenal.

To my credit I never followed the rags although in the 80's I did have a dalliance with the Toffeemen from Liverpool.

I am however following Leicester's progress with interest and will make a decision on who to support next season once the Summer's transfer action gets under way in earnest.
