I'm not sure it was wise.
That was just before HT and the players showboating didn't have to come out second half and face a Millwall side whose manager no doubt told them not to stand for that sort of arrogance. The Millwall late tackles were far worse second half.

Its too hard to judge in preseason but we looked a whole different side tbh.

The Milwall forums are a delight to behold. Fook me, they really are a nasty bunch of thugs. Apparently we are a punch of soft self entitled middle class poshos because we had the temerity to complain about the thuggery on show in the match.
All I was seeing was one team clearly a class above and another one unable to even get the ball, so had to resort to rugby tackles and karate to have an impact.

It would have been interesting to see what Burns and Lloyd would have done if players had showboated like that against them.
I am not too sure if Clough would have tolerated that either.

It was showboating in fairness and there is nothing like that which raises the temperature of opposition. No one likes the piss being taken! Still a bunch of thugs though

We had an away game at Watford or somewhere like that and were leading by 2 or 3 goals with a couple of minutes left
Collymore got the ball near the corner and started doing keepie uppies and their players were lining up to injure him after that

The fouls got worse and more often as the game went on
I thought the challenge on Anderson was late. Ref didn't even give a foul for that one.
